Every cargo has its own team.
Booking a container is the same for everyone. Moving the cargo inside it is not. Behind the platform sit specialist teams who know the rules, the equipment and the carriers for their kind of goods. Pick yours.
Food & beverage
Fresh, frozen, dry and bulk foodstuffs: produce, meat, fish, dairy, grains, beverages and ingredients.
What is different about moving it
Food cargo is a race against the clock and a chain of temperature readings. Reefer containers must be pre-cooled and set to the right temperature, humidity and ventilation for the product; a few degrees off, or a gap of a few hours, can write off the whole load. Dry foodstuffs need clean, odour-free, food-grade containers. Most destinations ask for health certificates, phytosanitary documents and often a pre-arrival notification, and customs will not release the cargo until those are in order.
How we help
- Reefer bookings with set-points checked before the container is released to you
- Cold-chain planning from your packhouse to the final delivery, including pre-cooling and plug-in at the terminal
- Food-grade container inspection and certificates arranged before loading
- Phytosanitary, health and origin documents prepared together with the booking
Why we can offer this
We book reefer capacity with the carriers directly and see the sailing schedules, transit times and plug-in availability in one place. Because the forwarding team sits behind the platform, a reefer booking goes out with its documents, temperature instructions and terminal appointments already attached, instead of as a series of e-mails.
High-tech & electronics
Servers, semiconductor equipment, telecom hardware, consumer electronics, medical devices and components.
What is different about moving it
High-value, high-sensitivity cargo. The risk is rarely weight or size; it is shock, vibration, humidity, theft and lead time. Equipment often ships in crates with shock and tilt indicators, needs climate-controlled or at least dry containers, and has an insured value that demands correct declarations and higher cargo insurance. Export control and dual-use checks apply to a lot of this equipment, and a missing licence stops the shipment at the border.
How we help
- Dry or climate-controlled containers, with desiccants and humidity logging where needed
- Full-container moves to avoid handling, or secured consolidation for smaller lots
- Export-control screening and licence handling before the cargo leaves
- Cargo insurance at the real invoice value, with claims handled by us
Why we can offer this
Every booking carries its declared value, HS codes and documents, so the compliance checks happen before the container is stuffed. We keep the move direct, fix the handling steps in the booking and track the container from gate-in to delivery, so you know where your equipment is and that nobody has touched it on the way.
Energy
Wind, solar and battery components, transformers, generators, oil and gas equipment, cables and spare parts for power plants.
What is different about moving it
Energy cargo mixes two problems: parts that are large and heavy, and parts that are dangerous goods. Turbine blades, transformers and cable drums exceed standard container dimensions and go on flat racks, open tops or break-bulk. Lithium batteries and energy storage systems are class 9 dangerous goods with strict packing, labelling and stowage rules. Project deadlines are fixed by installation crews and cranes on site, so a late container is not a small delay.
How we help
- Flat-rack, open-top and break-bulk bookings for over-dimensional parts
- Dangerous goods declarations, UN-approved packing and carrier approval for batteries and fuels
- Delivery slots aligned with installation schedules and site access
- Route surveys for the last mile when the road cannot take a standard trailer
Why we can offer this
We book the special equipment and dangerous goods with carriers that accept them, and we handle the declarations ourselves instead of sending you to a third party. The platform shows the whole move in one timeline, so the site team sees the same dates as the shipper.
Retail & consumer goods
Apparel, footwear, furniture, toys, homeware, sporting goods and seasonal merchandise from factory to distribution centre.
What is different about moving it
Retail cargo is about volume, timing and the shelf date. Goods leave many factories in many ports and have to reach a distribution centre in the right order, before the season starts. Containers are often shared between products or suppliers, and the stuffing plan decides how fast the warehouse can unload. Labelling, product compliance (CE, toy safety, textiles) and customs classification across hundreds of SKUs are the paperwork side of it.
How we help
- Full-container and consolidated bookings from several suppliers, aligned on one arrival window
- Stuffing plans and carton counts that match your warehouse's receiving process
- Customs classification and duty estimates per SKU before the goods ship
- Peak-season capacity booked early, with visibility of every container in the same dashboard
Why we can offer this
Our dashboard was built for repeat shippers with many containers in flight at once. Each booking shows its carrier, vessel, ETA and documents, and the whole season is on one screen. Behind that, the forwarding team books capacity ahead of peak and keeps the suppliers to the cut-offs.
Project cargo
Industrial plants, machinery, construction equipment, infrastructure components and anything that does not fit a standard box.
What is different about moving it
Project cargo has no standard answer. Each piece is measured, weighed and planned separately: flat rack or open top, lashing and securing, stowage on deck or below, cranes at both ends, and the road or barge leg to and from the port. Permits for over-size road transport, port handling slots and the vessel's own lifting limits all have to line up. The documentation is as custom as the cargo.
How we help
- Dimensional and weight checks per piece, with the right equipment and lashing plan
- Multi-modal routing: truck, barge, rail and sea, with permits and escorts arranged
- Lifting plans and port handling coordinated with terminals and stevedores
- One project file with every piece, document and milestone in it
Why we can offer this
We treat a project as a set of containers and out-of-gauge pieces that live in one booking file, so nothing is planned in isolation. You get one price for the whole move, one contact and one timeline, and the operational detail stays with us.
Chemicals
Industrial and specialty chemicals, polymers, coatings, resins, solvents and fertilisers in drums, IBCs, bags and tank containers.
What is different about moving it
Most chemical cargo is dangerous goods, and the rest still needs clean, dry containers and careful stowage. Each product has a UN number, class and packing group that fix how it is packed, labelled, declared and placed on the vessel; carriers accept or refuse per product and per port. Tank containers need cleaning certificates and compatible previous cargoes. A single wrong declaration can mean a rejected booking, a fine or a container left on the quay.
How we help
- Dangerous goods declarations and carrier approval handled per product, before booking
- Tank container, ISO tank and flexitank bookings with cleaning and compatibility checks
- Segregation and stowage planning for mixed loads
- Safety data sheets and documents stored with the booking for every party
Why we can offer this
Our team books dangerous goods daily and knows which carriers take which classes on which routes. The platform stores the product data once, so repeat shipments are declared correctly every time and the paperwork is ready when the container is.
Pharma & life sciences
Finished medicines, active ingredients, vaccines, clinical trial materials and medical consumables.
What is different about moving it
Pharma cargo combines a strict cold chain with a strict paper trail. Temperature ranges are narrow (2 to 8 °C, or controlled room temperature) and must be proven for the entire journey under Good Distribution Practice rules. Deviations have to be recorded and reported, not just avoided. Import permits, batch certificates and regulatory registrations differ per country, and the cargo is high in value and tightly controlled.
How we help
- Validated reefer containers with continuous temperature logging and a data file per shipment
- GDP-aligned handling: pre-conditioning, plug-in at every stop and priority release at the terminal
- Permit, certificate and regulatory document handling per destination
- Contingency planning with alternative routings and standby capacity
Why we can offer this
Because the booking, the temperature instructions and the documents live in one record, the proof of a compliant cold chain is there when the auditor asks for it. The forwarding team monitors the reefer alerts and acts on them, so a deviation is handled while the container is still moving.
